The much-anticipated new single from the National Gospel Recording Artist

group Walter Barnes, Jr. and Men of Ministry is now available on various popular digital platforms.

CLEVELAND, OH (May 10, 2021) - Walter Barnes, Jr. and Men of Ministry has launched the band’s latest single ‘#UWait2021’ as a tribute to all things great and good through God. The song has the band’s signature sound and is another way to celebrate the positive side of living through God while singing out one’s troubles- especially during the 2020-2021 trying COVID-19 pandemic. The song is available on all popular digital platforms, such as Amazon and Apple music. The single is also part of the band’s latest project titled ‘Nothing Shall Separate’. "In life, everything has its time and season. The key is to stay persistent and most of all have unwavering faith and watch the change come,” said Barnes.

To date, Men of Ministry ranks in the top 40 of Independent Music Artists for Radio Airplay in Europe. Walter Barnes, Jr. & Men of Ministry has performed and/or recorded with national recording artists such as Babyface, Toni Braxton, Christina Aguilera, Ruben Studdard, Levert, The O’ Jays, Anthony Hamilton, Musiq Soul Child, Brian McKnight, Kim Burrell, Patti Labelle, Karen Clark Sheard, Richard Smallwood, and Pastor John P. Kee & The New Life Community Choir, to name a few.

Launched in 1989, and through a variety of changes, the band has lived in success and has grown its following. This new group of guys are all established writers, producers, and entrepreneurs in Gospel and R&B. As an example, Further, in 2008, Stephen Fowler, (Music Director, Vocalist, and Pianist) of Men of Ministry acquired a slot as one of the top finalists on American IdolAnd in May of 2009, Walter Barnes, Jr. became one of the top 3 finalists on MTV’s “P Diddy” Making the Band, which is astonishing for a non-secular group. 

Eric Allen, (Lead/Background Vocalist and Guitarist) of Men of Ministry was responsible for writing top-charting Hits for The Mighty Clouds of Joy and Rizen. These accomplishments were a result of efforts to independently gain exposure. In May 2017, Walter Barnes, Jr. & Men of Ministry was awarded The Akademia Award for Best Christian/Funk Album in Foreign Markets.
